"Heritage Property Corporation, 2007-2008"

The Heritage Property Corporation is part of Calgary's History through their dedication to restoring some of Calgary's well-loved buildings.  In the Spring of 2007, the HPC put out a competition for artists around the city to do paintings to celebrate their community.  Out of seventy participating artists, Amy Dryer's painting "Landmarks" was one of the twenty selected to hang in the office for a year.  "Landmark" is a painting that presents its viewer with three of Calgary's symbolic characters -- the business man, artist and cowboy.  These three characters, walking together on Nose Hill, celebrate Calgary's joint community and their movement through time.  This painting can be viewed in the second floor boardroom of the Heritage Property Corporation.
