I am busy getting ready to go to the Banff Centre for a five-week residency!
As of late, I have been finishing a number of new paintings for my gallery in Eastern Canada, Trinity Galleries. I have been showing with Trinity Galleries since 2003 and they have often supported my work, as it relates to the East coast ‘landscape.’ This time, the gallery took a number of umbrella-filled figurative paintings. http://www.trinitygalleries.ca/dynamic/artist.asp?ArtistID=7
My husband Aaron has been building me stretcher frames in preparation for the Banff Centre. I am thrilled at the prospect of working amongst my peers for five weeks at the Centre. I have enclosed a link to the residency description: http://www.banffcentre.ca/programs/program.aspx?id=1386
I will not be in touch much while at the centre, intentionally closing myself off from the outside world, in the aim to completely focus on my work and time there.
